October 2014: Saturday Hours, Dental Plan Information & Treats

Dental Services are now available at ParkPlace Dental Centre on Saturdays from 9-5

As the pace of life and the demands of work increase, we have also changed to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Emergency dental services, Hygiene services and Scheduled dental care are now available 9-5 on Saturdays. I hope this helps some of our patients get the dental care they need, at the time they need it.

What's Your Plan?

Is your dental plan based on the calendar year?

If so, your coverage maximums start over on January 1st, and your unused benefits may not roll over into the New Year. That means if you don't use them, you lose them!

If we haven't seen your smile in a while, click here to schedule an appointment.

Halloween Tips for Kids and Kids at Heart!

Whether you have little ghost and goblins around the house or not, the lure of Halloween candy and treats will be all around this month. If you do have young ones, there are a few tips we can offer before their inevitable increase of candy consumption.

The temperature is beginning to drop, so what are we going to do?

Fall is a beautiful season full of wonderful changes - the leaves, the brisk air and the cozy sweaters. Love it or hate it ... everything is now pumpkin-flavoured!

Halloween (October 31st) is just around the corner! Halloween falls on a Friday, meaning that ghosts and goblins will be out early and all through the evening, so be careful as you head home from work or school. As always, with Thanksgiving and Halloween kicking off the holiday season, remember not to over indulge too early and avoid binging on candy too much.

I hope you all enjoyed our summer. Just a reminder: we have extended our hours to include Saturdays 9-5. This has been a big success for serving the needs of our young patients and their parents.

Drs. Mary-Anne, Svoboda, Kristina Whiteside, Pari Ghanbarzedeh and staff are working hard to accommodate your needs.

We also like to remind you that we have an experienced Orthodontist (Dr. Ziad Omar) at our practice. Early detection and treatment are important hallmarks of excellent dental treatment. Dr. Omar can help your children by aligning their teeth and little jaws. Happy Halloween! See you soon.
