Dr. Mary-Anne graduated from McMaster in Hamilton with an Honours BSc. From there she attended Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated with honours in 2009. Dr. Mary-Anne Svoboda then proceeded to attend the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi Course in Atlanta Georgia. This course supports her interests in the growing field of dental implantology.
Dr. Mary-Anne is currently pursuing her Associate Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as her Associate Fellowship in the Academy of Implant Dentistry. She is currently a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Halton-Peel Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She is currently certified to administer “Moderate Sedation” to her patients and to use CT Scan Radiology. ParkPlace Dental Centre is a facility certified for both these treatment modalities.

Dr. Kristina Whiteside BSc DDS achieved an academic background in biology and dentistry. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, she was granted the Academy of General Dentistry Award. Dr. Ziad Omar received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Anthropology from The University of Toronto where he was on the Dean’s Honour list and received several awards and scholarships. Upon finishing his degree, Dr. Omar was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction. Following his graduation from the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Omar completed an optional General Practice Residency at the Hospital for Sick Children where he was trained in the dental management of children and adolescents.Dr. Anit Sharma
After graduating from dental school in May of 2004, Dr. Anit Sharma quickly became a Royal College member. He continued his education by taking the Maxicourse of Oral Implantology in 2007, and an extensive bone grafting course in Henderson Nevada. In 2002 Dr. Bowleg decided to leave her teaching career and emigrated from the Bahamas to pursue her dream of becoming a Dentist. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science from Dalhouse University where she specialized in the field of Biology. Dr. Bowleg remained in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she further pursued her passion for dentistry and was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University, where she would go on to acquire her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Anthi Gjinarali was born and raised in Gjirokaster, Albania. “My mother, a laboratory technician taught me accuracy and responsibility, and my father as a mechanical technologist taught me reflection and confidence to accomplish my goals…”. Dr. Gjinarali graduated from University of Tirana, Faculty of Dentistry in 2003 and worked as a dentist for 6 years in Albania. Dr. Minder Cheema graduated from the University of Toronto in 2013 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018 from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, Ontario. He received training for oral and moderate sedation from the University of Toronto in June, 2018.
